The PUB
K2 inspired exciting Bar or Pub menu enjoyed while listening to a very wide range of music played by international DJs.
This menu has some of the following dishes which we will leave it to your wild imagination to guess what they are: Phat Luv, Burning Luv, Apache Chief, Made ‘N La Grave, Outlaw, Seth Pistol
…Once having something in the tummy we encourage you to enjoy some of our daily special Big Kahuna cocktails: She’s Piste, Public Enemy, Work Stinks, Fugitive…It is here where you sign up for testing next season’s K2 equipment.
The long runs over varying terrain combined with the untouched and un-policed routes have given the freedom to create and shape an exciting new outlook on style, attitude and ultimately equipment. The new performance fat category is bursting into life with a design that works with an understanding of what a 21st century free rider really wants... all terrain carving trajectory, a wide waist and deep side-cut, a board that floats in the deepest powder, holds an edge on the steepest terrain and leaves perfect pencil-like tracks on any groomed run: the best all terrain tool.
It is here where you also share your best turns with your ski buddies on our wide-screen after down-loading from your cameras and videos. Free, wireless internet access is available throughout the public area of the hotel. A terrace bar overlooking the mountain; a sheltered heated wooden deck for barbeque and aprés ski parties is also very popular especially on warmer evenings
La Grave
La Grave is a truly traditional alpine village dating back to the 12th century with a long and respected reputation as a centre of alpinism. It was here, in the latter half of the 19th century, that early mountaineering pioneers, accompanied by both native and Chamonix Guides, came to conquer the summits and seek new challenges.
Today it attracts the knowing mountain lovers who wish to experience the freedom, escape the masses, and explore a new different world. La Grave has retained all of its character, a character dominated by centuries of a severe existence at the foot of the peaks and faces of La Meije massif. There exists a rigid determination to preserve the spirit of the environment. Whether your motivation is to simply relax and enjoy the unspoiled environment and its flaura and fauna or to scale the summits, La Grave and the surrounding area offers limitless possibilities.
La Grave is situated in the Hautes Alpes region of France and is nestled at the foot of La Meije. Straddling the Route National 91 some 75 km east of Grenoble with Briancon 32 km to the east. It is on the northern boundary of the largest National Parc in France, `Le Parc des Ecrins´.
