Grenier des Alpes “4 star” is the result of an extensive renovation of the top floor and roof structure of the historic Hotel des Alpes . The result of the roof-top renovation is a light-filled, private alpine retreat, with spectacular views and state-of-the-art amenities. While the exterior remains in keeping with the original design of the historic structure.

The new interior design offers the perfect balance of an open living area in which to relax, prepare meals and the luxurious privacy of your own room and custom private bathroom. Such privacy and speciousness offers a unique experience in the French Alpes.
The interior woodwork, floors and much of the furniture is crafted from local tamarack — one of the hardest soft woods grown on the lower slopes of La Meije. This warm, strong wood features wonderful grain, and is lively and naturally water repellent — perfectly suited for mountain living.
Grenier des Alpes features in total of 11 bedrooms each with a custom en suite bathroom. Guest-rooms feature Pella windows throughout, offering ample natural light and serene mountain views.
Each guest-room features all-natural Hästens beds and hypoallergenic linens. All bathrooms are appointed Grohe fixtures, towel warmers, hair dryers and glass-enclosed showers. Some include a bathtub.
A ski room is located at the entrance to the building and provides a comfortable changing area and convenient and secure storage for your equipment. Attached to the ski room is a separate workshop for ski preparation and repair. The workshop also includes a wall-mounted ski boot and shoe dryer and a sink for your convenience. The workshop features a bench with ski and snowboard vices, wax iron and basic tuning tools available for your use.
Grenier des Alpes has its own spacious laundry room to clean sports clothes and to benefit those on an extended stay. The first-floor laundry room is available to all guests and includes two washers, two dryers and a large laundry sink. An ironing table and iron are also available here.
The common area is equipped with a large TV and DVD players. WiFi is available throughout the property.

Option 1: Skiers Lodge Exclusive
Designed to accommodate private medium-sized groups 4-8 people (4 rooms) on the roof-top of Grenier des Alpes and offers the flexibility to house smaller groups by request, pending availability.
Option 2: Group Events
Designed to accommodate for larger group events utilizing all the 11 bedrooms and each one with a custom en suite bathroom. . Our events are tailor-made and therefore, we organize only a few per year witch each one are unique.
