Half Board at Hôtel Des Alpes – Skiers Lodge
We normally book guests by the week with or without guiding although most of our clients ski with a guide.
Nevertheless we offer half board accommodation for groups or for independent client. We also cater to guest guides with private clients for Skiing & Boarding, Ski Touring and Ice Climbing.
The half-board includes accommodation in single, twin, double, and triple rooms. Breakfast buffe and 4 course evening meal. The price is 110 euro per person sharing accommodation. There is an additional cost of 50 euro per night if you wish to have your own single room.
Independent IFMGA / UIAGM Mountian Guides & Agents
Mountain Guides holding the UIAGM/IFMGA qualification are welcome to guide their own groups. Skiers Lodge will provide full support in planning, safety and coordinating your day to ensure all had a successful day. Each day all guides will attend a morning safety briefing and fill out a risk management log detailing conditions which will be logged and assist in melt freeze zones and avalanche forecasting for the region. The lodge will offer all logistical and consultancy services provided by the IFMGA guides based at the lodge full time so as to assist in providing a top quality service to you and your guests. Insurance
Valid travel insurance is strongly recommended. Please check that your policy covers emergency medical evacuation, repatriation, and trip cancellation or interruption due to illness or injury.
A Carte Neige or a valid UK EHIC generally covers on-snow accident costs within the La Grave – La Meije domain, where mountain rescue is free of charge. If you ski outside this domain (e.g. Alpe d’Huez, Serre Chevalier, Montgenevre), off-piste insurance is recommended and can usually be added to your lift pass.
Payment
A deposit of €300 per person is required to secure your booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before your arrival date.
Bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
By reserving your place, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and conditions. Once we receive your booking, we’ll send you a secure payment link to complete your deposit or balance by card.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be submitted in writing and are subject to the following:
